Had to Get This News In

Great day for fans of Glenn Beck.

I’m a big fan of Glenn’s.  I think his CNN Headline News Show is one of the best opinion based news shows on TV.  His first book, The Real America, was one of the best, and most inspirational books I have ever read. Unfortunately, Staten Island isn’t part of his radio shows market, so I can’t really critique that.

Today, however, it was announced that Beck will be leaving CNN Headline News, and taking the 5 o’clock hour on Fox News.  Personally, I think this is great.  It gets Beck a larger audience, and can hopefully advance him even further.  I’d love to see him get picked up by WABC Radio as well, but I doubt they would remove the local stuff.

Great for the network too.  Personally, I can only take so much of O’Reilly and Hannity.  Beck doesn’t have the same potential to annoy.  Makes me wish he was on later, since I get out of work at 5.
